Bárðarbunga

Bárðarbunga is an active Icelandic volcano located under the ice cap of Vatnajökull glacier, rising to 2,000 m (6,560 feet) above sea level, making it the second highest mountain in Iceland, just about 10 m (33 feet) lower than Hvannadalshnjúkur.
