[edit] AbdomeN

Hi Azwaldo, it might seem strange but AbdomeN is absolutely not a candidate for deletion. The reason it exists is because the page used to be at that title a long time ago when Wikipedia used the UseMod software and all titles had to be CamelCase. This meant that single word titles had to use strange capitalization. It is quite possible that external site linked to this old title, or that people bookmarked it and never updated their links. Therefore, if we delete, we risk breaking links. It's not a huge risk, but then keeping the redirect isn't a huge hassle either, so on balance, the policy says to keep it because the advantages outweigh the disadvantages of doing this. See Wikipedia:Redirects for deletion and Wikipedia talk:Deletion policy/redirects if you want more details. Angela. 22:01, Jan 4, 2004 (UTC)

[edit] E. Coli

A redirect from Fecal coliform bacteria to E. coli sounds a good idea. Be bold! Angela. 00:56, Jan 5, 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Taxobox

Hello and welcome! Generally taxoboxes should avoid sub and super categories because that complicates the table and since sub and super categories are not used as often as the regular KPCOFGS ones. But higher level taxa have fewer items in the classification part of the table so, IMO, it is not as important to exclude sub/super there. So if a sub/super category is important enough to the taxon you are writing on (this is often the case for birds and plants), then listing them in the taxobox may make sense. Above all else use your best judgment and don't forget to have fun! :) --mav 10:29, 15 Jan 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Wasp

Hi,

Concerning the Wasp page: first of all, sorry for answering late (I dont look at my user page that often); second: I quite like the opening paragraph, I think the page might as well stay that way. Tjunier 11:47, 6 Feb 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Unverified images

Hi! Thanks for uploading the following image:

  • Image:IcneumonWasp.png

I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status? (You can use {{gfdl}} if you release it under the GNU Free Documentation License, {{fairuse}} if you claim fair use, etc.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know where you got the imagesand I'll tag them for you. Thanks so much. [[User:Poccil|Peter O. (Talk, automation script)]] 01:48, Dec 10, 2004 (UTC)

P.S. You can help tag other images at User:Yann/Untagged_Images. Thanks again.

[edit] Speedy deletion of Drip Coffee Lounge

A tag has been placed on Drip Coffee Lounge, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Nonsense

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. ≈ The Haunted Angel (The Forest Whispers My Name) 00:20, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

Charles' space

FYI, I have rewritten the article to strip all the POV content and retain only the factual information about the location of the restaurant and the type of food served. However, there is still nothing that convinces me that this restaurant is particularly notable under either the criteria for organizations and companies, or places of local interest. Restaurant reviews in local newspapers hardly qualify, since just about every restaurant in the country is so reviewed. What makes it any more notable than any neighborhood coffeeshop in my home town? Is it a tourist attraction, like Cafe du Monde? Is it a big business, like Starbucks or Au Bon Pain? An important historical or cultural site, like Café Central? You must make it clear why this is encyclopedic. Dr.frog 03:02, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Drip Coffee Lounge

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Drip Coffee Lounge, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. B. Wolterding 20:41, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
