Azucena Grajo Uranza

Azucena Grajo Uranza is a Filipino female novelist in the English language.

She has written the novels, Bamboo in the Wind (1990), A Passing Season (2002), Feast of the Innocents (2003) and the latest The Women of Tammuz. In terms of chronology, A Passing Season is the first, followed by Bamboo in the Wind, which retells the turbulent period and the events on the eve before the actual declaration of Martial Law by the former Philippine president and despot, Ferdinand Edralin Marcos. The third part of the saga is the Feast of Innocents, set in the Philippine's post-People Power period. Uranza's novels keep the Filipino's history alive.
