Aztec Rex

Aztec Rex is a film from director Brian Trenchard-Smith. (The pre-release production title was "Tyrannosaurus Azteca "). The story follows a fictional journey of a small group of 16th century conquistadores led by Hernán Cortés who encounter a tribe of Aztecs who worship a pair of living Tyrannosaurus Rex.

The film debuted on the SCI FI Channel in 2008. The film was filmed largely on location at Kualoa Ranch on the island of Oahu in Hawaii.
