Aziz Ahmad Zhowandai is an Afghan Poet and writer
Zhowandai was born in Kabul, Afghanistan, son of Gul M.Zhowandai.
Mr. Zhowandai was a Colonel in Afghanistan’s Army. Mr. Zhowandai was selected from University of Kabul school of medicine by late Sardar Mohammed Daoud Khan when he was the Prime Minister of Afghanistan to attend Officer training university in Czechoslovakia. Upon his return to Afghanistan he was involved in training the Afghan Army.
Mr. Zhowandai was the Director of the Academy of technique in Army facility of puli-charkhi, and held many high level positions in the Afghanistan defense ministry and officer training facilities across Afghanistan. Mr. Zhowandai has numerous publications in the Army magazines and articles in the Afghan publications in the US.
