Azimuth is a video game character in the first Legacy of Kain game. In Blood Omen she was voiced by Anna Gunn. During the preproduction stages of Blood Omen, Azimuth was known as "Hericus".

Azimuth served as the Guardian of the Pillar of Dimension for about 500 years, from after Vorador's assault on the Circle until her death at Kain's hands. As Guardian of the Pillar of Dimension, Azimuth was granted a third eye that permitted her vision into other dimensions. This sight also allowed her to summon thralls from within other dimensions.

For years, Azimuth reigned over the city of Avernus, using the cathedral at the heart of the city as her seat of power. As Nupraptor's insanity poisoned the minds of the Circle, Azimuth started summoning demons indigenous to the realm to which the Hylden had been banished, further weakening the already strained barriers. Some time between Ariel's death and Kain's resurrection, Azimuth stole a Time Streaming Device from Moebius in order to summon creatures from other times in addition to her demons. It is generally accepted in Defiance that Turel, the only vampire Raziel couldn't locate in Soul Reaver, was one of these creatures. Azimuth was the fifth Circle member killed by Kain, wielding the Soul Reaver he had only recently gained.
