Sultan Azhar ud-din Muhammad Azim Mirza, Azim us-Shan Bahadur (December 15, 1664 - March 18, 1712) was the third son of Mughal emperor Bahadur Shah I, by his second wife, Maharajkumari Amrita Bai Sahiba.

In 1712, at the time of his father's death, Azim-ush-shan was serving as governor of Bengal, Bihar, and Orissa. He immediately proclaimed himself emperor. However, he was killed (drowned in the Ravi River) shortly afterwards in the succession struggles that ensued.

Azim-ush-shan was married four times. His first marriage was in 1668, to Rajkumari Bai Jas Kanwar Sahiba, the daughter of the Rajput Raja of Kama. In 1692, he married his second wife, Nawab Aisha Begum Sahiba, a daughter of a Mughal courtier. He married in third wife, Nawab Giti Ara Begum Sahiba, daughter of Mughal emperor Muhammad Azam Shah in 1709. Finally, in 1715, he married his fourth wife, Sahiba Nizwan, a sister of Nawab Shaista Khan (Khwaja Inayat'ullah), the erstwhile governor of Kashmir. He had six sons and a daughter, including Farrukhsiyar (son of Sahiba Nizwan), who reigned as Mughal emperor between 1713 and 1719 AD.
