Azeezaly Jaffer

Azeezaly S. Jaffer was Vice President of Public Affairs and Communications for the United States Postal Service from 1999 until his abrupt resignation on June 30, 2006.[1]
Jaffer was facing allegations of sexual misconduct towards two female employees and misuse of postal service funds. On August 21, 2006 USA Today reported on more than $46,000 in questionable spending by Jaffer, including $8,252 spent on a Washington, DC hotel suite located just nine miles from his home and $3,486 on steak dinners and bar tab at the Peking Gourmet Inn, in Falls Church, Virginia, to celebrate the release of a new U.S. Postal Service Ronald Reagan tribute stamp.
