[edit] Tourist attractions
In addition to riding trails, hiking places, picnic spots and motels, there is a chairlift in the central place of Ghora Dhaka in Ayubia that takes the tourists to a nearby summit for a view of the forested hills. This Chairlift was the first recreation facility of its kind in Pakistan and is still a major attraction for domestic tourists.
The picture shown in page is not of Ayubia National Park but is a church in Nathia Gali. Ayubia national park is approximately at 8500 m higher place with very rich pine jungle. An interesting thing is that in 1920 British people carried a water pipe line from the higher end of park to the lower. This water further goes to murree hills. Due to this passage of water line people covered this line in the form of almost straight path. There is no any slope in this path, so old people can easily walk on this excellent path protected by a fence, and facilitated by seats and toilets etc. This is almost 4-5 km long track. This is very much known that due to presence of very healthy herb vapours in the atmosphere of this 100% pure oxygen habitate removes many disease and make your stamina very much higher. Simply when people comes to the park regularly, believe me they prefer life over money. Many people withdraw their many business contracts just to feel the original life.
[edit] Wildlife
The park harbors many species of birds like golden eagle, vulture, sparrow hawk and hill pigeon etc. And animals such as the haunting Asiatic leopard, asiatic black bear, hill fox and flying squirrel.
