The Ayres's Hawk-eagle (Hieraaetus ayresii) is a species of bird of prey in the Accipitridae family. It is found in Angola, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
