How come Ayesha a Persian name and a variant of Aisha, which is Arabic, at the same time. --Lanov 02:50, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
- Also, linking to Persia (a region), is really ambiguous because this sentence is trying to make inferences about Persia and Arabic, a language. I heard it is spelled the same way as A'isha and has the same meaning, but that Arabs pronounce it different. --Striver 15:59, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

There can't be any one right spelling of a transliterated name. It can be called misspelling only when it's spelled in its original alphabet. I think the whole article should be deleted. There are other entries already... 85.235.91.68 13:02, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
