Correctly Spelled Aisha Bawany Academy
Aisha Bawany Academy is a school/college located in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. It was established by the Aisha Bawany Waqf. The foundation stone was laid in 1957 but the school became operational in 1961.
The founding fathers have established the objectives of imparting teachings of the Holy Quran hand in hand with the modern educational concepts. Great emphasis is given on the teaching of English language in order to enable children to represent their country with dignity and pride at home as well as abroad. Providing scientific education is stressed upon for the children's technological development. Likewise children are greatly made aware of the importance of physical fitness by imparting physical education.
The Aisha Bawany School is located off one of the thoroughfares of Karachi, on main Shahrah-e-Faisal, opposite Dadabhoy Centre. The School has two buildings. One for boys and another for girls. Cambridge School is also operating in the same building.
