Axmouth

Axmouth is a village and civil parish in the East Devon district of Devon, England, near the mouth of the River Axe. The village itself is about 1km inland, although the parish extends to the sea. The village is near Seaton and Beer. According to the 2001 census the parish had a population of 493.

The remains of a hillfort can be seen on Hwkesdown Hill above the village.

the church has a fifteenth-century tower and a carved Norman dooway and pillars.
