[edit] AMBULANT

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as AMBULANT, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article appears to be a direct copy from http://www.w3.org/AudioVideo/Overview.html, and therefore a copyright violation. The copyrighted text has been or will soon be deleted.

If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:

  • If you have permission from the author leave a message explaining the details at Talk:AMBULANT and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
  • If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:AMBULANT with a link to where we can find that note.
  • If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on Talk:AMBULANT.

It is also important that the text be modified to have an encyclopedic tone and that it follows Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

If you would like to begin working on a new version of the article you may do so at Talk:AMBULANT/Temp. Leave a note at Talk:AMBULANT saying you have done so and an administrator will move the new article into place once the issue is resolved. Thank you, and please feel welcome to continue contributing to Wikipedia. Happy editing! -- ReyBrujo 16:51, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Braille terminal

In response to your request at WP:RAA, I have redirected Braille terminal to Refreshable Braille display, anyone who follows a link to Braille terminal will now end up at the Refreshable Braille display article instead. You can do this yourself in the future by replacing the page you wish to redirect with #REDIRECT [[Target article name]].

By the way, Wikipedia:Requests for administrator attention is no longer an active requests page, instead serving simply as a directory of places to make requests. In the future, you can visit either the Wikipedia:Help desk for general help, the various sections of the Wikipedia:Village pump for more specific questions, or the Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard if you need assistance from an administrator. Have a nice day. --tjstrf talk 09:17, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Switch Access Scanning

Hi, unfortunately, the CC license is incompatible with the GFDL. I therefore deleted the article. Of course, feel free to release your contributions under the public domain or the GFDL! -- lucasbfr talk 11:24, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

Indeed, but keep in mind that we are licensing all our content under the GFDL. That means that anyone can use this content, modify it, and even make money with it. You might want to think twice before releasing the content of his website under the GFDL. The e-mail address is permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org -- lucasbfr talk 09:29, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
I restored the history but put the copyright notice, please do not edit the article before the permission is confirmed by the people at the mailing list. Thanks! -- lucasbfr talk 14:03, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AMBULANT

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article AMBULANT, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. —C.Fred (talk) 19:25, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
