Axfangli (not his legal name) was born and raised in Kuching, Malaysia and migrated to Perth, Australia in January 2005. He commenced tertiary education in February 2007, studying science and engineering in the University of Western Australia.
He has been an active member of the Boys' Brigade since the year 2002, and transferred his membership following his migration.
