Axel Schultze is a serial entrepreneur and considered visionary and innovator. He is one of the pioneers of the Software as a Service (SaaS) Industry, frequent speaker at technology events and engaged in the SIIA. In 2007 he founded Xeequa Corp., a Web 2.0 / SaaS based Business Networking solution.

His vision is to make Xeequa the company that made “cross company business networking and collaboration” easy and seamless. Xeequa is the result of his experience with alliance channels and Software as a Service on one side and his networking nature on the other side. He became one of the very well connected executives in Silicon Valley (See LinkedIN).

He started his career as software engineer at General Instruments and Rockwell International. In 1983 he founded Computer 2000, which became the largest European computer distributor, the third largest in the world and later merged with TechData in 1998. In 1996 he founded Infinigate which became one of the largest Internet Solution providers in Europe. With his experience in indirect channels he moved to Silicon Valley and founded BlueRoads Corp. in 2001. He successfully raised 3 rounds of funding and created the most successful Software as a Service based PRM Company. He invented a new method of lead distribution and was granted patent 9514997 by the US Patent Office in 2006. After 5 years experience with Software as a Service, he and Timothy Chou (former president of Oracle on Demand) setup the SaaS directory Tanooma.com, the first vendor independent SaaS community to search and find Application and people in the SaaS industry.

Axel is chairing the SaaS Channel Committee of the SIIA (Software and Information Industry Association) and author of the book “Channel Excellence", which will be published in 2007 and was quoted many times in the respective trade publications. Axel has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Stuttgart.
