Talk:Axel Honneth
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Is it really necessary to list that Honneth has contributed to the journal Constellations? It may be a neat journal, but that seems superfluous.
[edit] Institutional affiliations
While the Institute for Social Research is affiliated to the Goethe University, it is not a proper part of it (such as the regular institute for philosophy). Therefore, it is incorrect to say that Honneth is professor at this institute; he is professor at the university and director of the institute. Traditionally, these both posts have been closely connected (every director has also been a professor), but it is nothing that goes without saying. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.2.29.177 (talk) 09:50, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
