Pater Axel Maußen, FSSP (b. March 1, 1968 at Bonn, Germany) is a Roman Catholic priest and is the current regional superior of the German speaking region of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter, which covers the territories of Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland.
A German, he studied theology at the University of Bonn and the St. Peter International Seminary in Wigratzbad (Bavaria, Germany). He exerted several pastoral duties in the German-speaking District of the FSSP, in particular in Vienna (Austria). In 2003 Fr. Maussen was named Superior of this District, which he has helped to develop. He resides in the new District House located at Wigratzbad.
