Hi Erik! I thought you might be interested to come up with an idea or two on how to improve the Coandă effect page after I moved the contents around a bit and moved the animation. --Profero 22:21, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Earth Return Vehicle MEL
I am not the author of the article: I only inserted a wikilink. Please look into article history. The parameters were added by Bomaxwell (talk · contribs), who no longer contributes to wikipedia. SInce the article has no references, please feel free to modify it, provideing references to your changes, which I hope will be from reliable sources. `'Míkka 16:41, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
P.S. in the future please make a wikilink to the article you are referring to. Stupid it may be, but since it was only in the section title, it took me some time to realize what page you are talking about. `'Míkka
P.P.S. What does MEL mean? No meanings from MEL disambig page seem to fit. the closest is [Minimum Equipment List]], but it is not discussel in the ERV article. `'Míkka 16:46, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sundogs picture
I liked it too - I posted it at Wikipedia:Picture peer review to see if it might become a featured picture. Tempshill (talk) 20:02, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
- I think you can second as a self-nomination if you want! Tempshill (talk) 23:18, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

- Hi Axda0002. I have done an edit on your Sundogs picture to try to correct some of the more obvious flaws. It's not perfect, but I reckon it's worth a shot at FPC (I'd probably give it about a 50% chance, but you never know if you don't try). On technical grounds it will struggle (even with the work I've done there's still a bit of noise and artifacting), but given the rarity of the shot, that might just be enough to carry it through. I will nominate it for you if you'd rather, or you can nominate yourself - just let me know. Cheers, --jjron (talk) 13:11, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

- I left a note for Tempshill (the person who nominated on PPR) about this too. If he doesn't want to nominate, doesn't care, or doesn't get back to me soon, then I will nominate it. Just be prepared, because some voters can be pretty blunt in their comments, but as I said above, we'll only know if we nominate, and I think it's worth a shot. I'll let you know when I nominate if I do so, and don't forget you're certainly allowed to vote on your own image if you want to. --jjron (talk) 08:43, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

- Thought you might be intrested that picture has been used on bbc website http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/7150156.stm without credit. Nice pic BTW. 62.173.86.208 (talk) 10:54, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, it's doing great. I thought someone might quibble on the quality, but with the bit of editing, quality was improved in some key areas, and I think it's got enough 'wow' to compensate for other minor flaws. With the level of support it has now, it should really be pretty plain sailing from here :-). Well done. --jjron (talk) 12:16, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- Congrats! Sorry I didn't vote yes on the FPC page itself, I was out for a bit. Tempshill (talk) 03:57, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
