AWplanet is a 3D science fiction Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game (MMORPG). The game is set on a distant planet far from our own galaxy where modern technology and medieval ways are interwoven. AWplanet claims low system requirements. including the ability to work on PDAs and cell phones.[1] AWplanet also claims that that it will work well on slow internet connections.[1]
AWplanet is set in the distant future. Human, alien, and created lifeforms intermingle. The game is set on the temperate planet Antouin. The planet lacks native intelligent life, but does have native flora and fauna. The interstellar Republic build mines and ore-processing plants. Eventually the natural resources were exhausted and the planet largely abandoned. The planet is far from major transport routes. There is a relatively small remaining population.
