This article has recently been vandalised many times, with someone adding three definitions of what he himself thinks is awesome, which is generally along the lines of "the drummer of band X is awesome!". What I'm adding is not 'silliness". Awesomeness is a philosophical belief that is starting to sweep university campuses. It does have a silly name, but it in itself is not silliness. Do we really want to define "awesome" in Wikipedia? Wiktionary does not ban an extended discussion of a word or its varied usage. Alexander 007 11:01, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
The problem is, there are many other things named "Awesome", many of which have Wikipedia articles. We need this article as a disambiguation between them. JIP | Talk 11:55, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
