[edit] E-mail addresses
Regardless of this article's inclusion status, I feel that the sentence "The only contact listed on the site is viceroy@awesomefunny.com." violates wikipedia's policy on including contact information on articles. I am removing the address, and replacing it with the text "The only contact information listed on the site is a single email address, registered to the domain." If anyone disagrees with this, please discuss below. jglc | t | c 18:49, 3 August 2005 (UTC)
- Agree. You just beat me to it. Anyone wanting this email can get it from the site, which is listed as an external link.
- On another topic, I don't intend to merge the long synopsis from How to Kill a Mockingbird. But if anyone else wants to merge (or read) it, you can get it from the history there or from User:Andrewa/HTKAM. Andrewa 19:50, 3 August 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Invention Pioneers of Note
What of AwesomeFunny's other flash film "Invention Pioneers of Note"? How recent is it and what is its internet reputation?
- Please sign your posts, user 71.33.62.218, and you might consider creating a user id, it costs nothing, gives a little more privacy and helps communication.
- I know nothing about this other film, but as you do, why not research it and add any encyclopedic information to the article?
- Do be a bit careful. This article has been on Wikipedia:VFD twice now, and if it looks like it's just being used to promote the site, it will go there again. We need to be careful, more so than we would for other types of content, owing to the nature of Wikipedia as a website itself. So if this new film turns out to just be a forgettable project (and I would guess the authors of HTKAM have many HDD-fulls of these), it would be better not to mention it at all. [edit] Expired Domain
I've received word that the domain should be back up in a matter of a few days. The delay is due to a minor domain ownership dispute, and will be resolved probably by Wednesday. There is now reason for this information to be placed on the article, I just felt I'd note it for those who were worried about the longevity of the site. 02:03, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
The dispute was resolved and the site is back up. The article has been updated accordingly. Arrowoftime 01:52, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
The site is down again, does anyone know if this is another temporary dispute? (November 24,2007) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.26.245.214 (talk) 05:21, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
