Awesome Kong is a monster truck that races on several independent circuits. It is currently owned by Don King, who purchased the truck from Rex Smith. Smith bought two of Terry Woodcock's chassis, and ran the names King Kong and Awesome Kong. Jeff Dane created the truck in the late 1970s. The truck was a teammate to their King Kong truck.
