From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I would like to extend a personal "welcome" to you. Release company photos of your aircraft under the GFDL is a bold step, and we really appreciate it. I really wish I could get Boeing or N-G to do the same! Please understand that Wikipedia has some fairly stringent conflict of interest policies, and one of these essentially says that you should not edit articles about your Company's own products. Wikipedia is not a place to promote your product, and we are not a free advertising service Another of our policies states that articles must cite references, which must predominantly be 3rd-party refs, especially when the information being added is evaluative. I do not at all mean to imply that your input is not welcome, but I would suggest that you tread carefully. Fortunately, we do have a team of very talented and knowledgeable writers in the aviation end of the encyclopedia, and we would be more than happy to work with you. What we tend to do in situations like this is ask that you add your input to the talk page of the article, let us know what's right and what's wrong with what's being said, and what can be added. However, we would prefer that you didn't edit the article directly. You are in a great position, however, to point us to what other media sources are saying about your product, which is a big help. If you have any questions about this, or about Wikipedia in general, please don't hesitate to ask, either here, on the article's talk page, or on my talk page. Blue skies!
