This is a complete discography of official releases by Avril Lavigne. Lavigne is a Canadian-born singer-songwriter whose music is generally pop rock/modern rock, with high pop punk and little alternative rock influences. Lavigne's debut album, Let Go, was released in 2002, sold over 16 million copies worldwide[1] and is currently certified six times platinum in the United States.[2] Lavigne's second and third albums, Under My Skin (2004) and The Best Damn Thing (2007), respectively, reached number one on the U.S. Billboard 200.
Lavigne has achieved six number one songs worldwide to date and a total of eleven worldwide top ten hits, including "Complicated", "Sk8er Boi", "I'm with You", "My Happy Ending", and "Girlfriend". Lavigne has sold over 30 million albums worldwide and has performed and collaborated with a range of musicians from John Rzeznik from The Goo Goo Dolls to Avenged Sevenfold.
