[edit] His fate
I'm so curious to read this as I wonder whatever happened to him as he seems to be persona non grata on the show. I'm worried to read it though in the event that some future information is in there that I'll find out. Quadzilla99 15:13, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

Removed the 'Last Appearance' section as it has been confirmed that Wood Harris will be returning as Avon Barksdale in at least one episode of Season Five of The Wire in 2008. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.188.15.205 (talk) 07:43, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Murderer
According to JeffStickney,
"...under Maryland law the Greek is a murderer, as are Avon, Stringer and Prop Joe. They may not be triggermen, but in the case of murder-for-hire, if you order the hit you are a murderer, and can receive the death penalty.[1]"Maryland's "murder for hire" aggravating circumstance reads as follows: "The defendant engaged or employed another person to commit the murder and the murder was committed pursuant to an agreement or contract for remuneration or the promise of remuneration."[2] It may take less to be convicted of murder. The quotes are death penalty circumstances." 08 -Lecreuset87
