Avon Township covers an area of 23.87 square miles (61.83 square kilometers); of this, 1.14 square miles (2.96 square kilometers) or 4.79 percent is water. Lakes in this township include Cranberry Lake, Druce Lake, Grays Lake, Highland Lake and Third Lake.
