Avolasca is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 100 km southeast of Turin and about 30 km southeast of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 292 and an area of 12.3 km².[1]
The municipality of Avolasca contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Montebello, Grua, Baiarda, Casa Borella, Oliva, Tassare, Mereta, Pissine, and Isolabella.
Avolasca borders the following municipalities: Casasco, Castellania, Costa Vescovato, Garbagna, Montegioco, and Montemarzino.
