AVM Productions is the oldest & biggest[citation needed] production house in Kollywood, the Tamil language film industry of India. It is currently owned by M. Saravanan and his son, M. S. Guhan. The most recent film they have produced since their opening with Naam Iruvar in 1947, is, the multi-budget film, Sivaji: The Boss starring Rajinikanth. The filming studios are held in Vadapalani, Chennai.
