From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I assume that this message was left on my talk page by you while you were not logged in, so I will reply here. First of all, Wikipedia is not a free webspace provider for political candidates or potential candidates. Secondly, writing an article about a subject you are this closely involved with is strongly discouraged. It creates a conflict of interest which makes it very hard to write a neutral article. Thirdly, all content added to Wikipedia has to be released under the GNU Free Documentation License. Everything that hasn't formally been released is still copyrighted, and such articles may be speedy deleted from Wikipedia under speedy deletion criterion G12. You can find out how to release the copyrighted content at Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. And finally, all subjects of Wikipedia articles need to meet our notability guidelines. The guidelines for people are outlined in WP:BIO. AecisBrievenbus 00:16, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] AfD nomination of Thomas O'Grady
I have nominated Thomas O'Grady, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Thomas O'Grady (2nd nomination). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
