Averrhoa is a genus of trees in the Oxalidaceae family, of the Oxalidales order, named after Averroes - a 12th century astronomer and philosopher.

The genus only comprises 2 species:
- Averrhoa carambola -- Starfruit or Carambola
- Averrhoa bilimbi -- Bilimbi
Note that the species Phyllanthus acida is also sometimes referred to as Averrhoa acida.
