[edit] Examples

  • {{autolink|a}} gives a [1]Template:Xpd/
  • {{autolink|aqrp}} gives aqrp [2]Template:Xpd/

[edit] Function

I have replaced the old template with the superior version I made at Template:intlink.

The template functions as follows (logical representation): if 1 exists then (if parameter 2 specified then ([[1|2]]) else ([[1]])) else (if parameter 2 specified then (2) else (1))

The template has full normal link functionality, with or without a pipe. It simply creates the link if the page exists and does not if it does not exist. Polonium 19:47, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

This template was designed for a different purpose, (for use in templates) but that does not matter, its still functional... (Although I am thinking of transcluding the code into Infobox Australian Place because that infobox has about 1700 transes, and the template itself transes AutoLink about 20 times, so its a bit harder on the wiki servers) --TheJosh 10:48, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
