[edit] Length of Quebec Hiways.
There was an edit today from a IP number user ((diff) (hist) . . Autoroute (Quebec); 02:09 . . 216.239.77.59 (Talk) (Quebec's Autoroutes do not span more than 20,000 km; in fact they are rather short compared to highways in the US) )
I could not find a reference on the Quebec Hyways site, although they do say that (sur les quelque 30 000 kilomètres de route sous la responsabilité du Ministère; elles requièrent des investissements importants. [[1]] But it does not say how many of those 30,000 Km and 450 Stuctures (pesumably Bridges) are autoroutes. Anyone have a good reference, I don't want to RV the edit without some reference cmacd 16:25, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
- A quick sum of the lengths given in the article yields 1,920 km. I was the source of the edit -- G. Csikos
[edit] Unused Autoroute Links
[edit] 1) Autoroute 16 and Autoroute 18
These two entries are unsourced. I have had an interest in Québec roads for 20+ years and I have never seen any reference to either one of those two alleged autoroutes. Please provide a source. --Prop in SF 19:05, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] response
I didn't find anything for Autoroute 16, but I found this which seems to be an official MTQ document regarding a future Autoroute 18

- I remember seeing 51 0n the maps--why not note it is part of 55?
- 430, now 30 east of Lafontaine Tunnel.
