Is this page for real? This sounds like somebody's pet theory that never got off the ground, or a marketing blurb from the days when ERP was going to rule the world before everyone found out nobody could implement the big ones and actually save money. A search on HP's web site turns up nothing for E-Flow, so I'm guessing it was a flash in the pan. Is this really cutting edge or a really stale entry that should be tossed? --Amillar


Yes, this is for real. Many companies are moving into this space, although HP has sold off its development group. Gartner, Butler and other industry watchers are predicting this as the way forward. For instance, Delphi described it as: "..on the cusp of a revolution" and "..is quickly emerging as the moniker for the next killer app in enterprise software". --Grahamp
