Talk:Autobracketing

[edit] Visual Effects

Somewhere (I have mislaid the specific details) I read of a digital photographic technique that makes creative use of autobracketed images in post-processing. Three autobracketed images of, say, a small waterfall are split using software (such as Paint Shop Pro) into their R,G,B or H,S,V components.

Then unique channels from each image (for example: R from the first image, G from the second, B from the third) are combined to create a new image in which the immobile objects have their full colour restored while the mobile objects (water, in the example) take on a rainbow of colours.

If anyone reading this happens to know where (perhaps in Wikipedia? I've looked but cannot find anything so far) I'd be grateful for a heads-up here - thanks!

A reference in the article to the technique with a link might not be amiss, either :) AncientBrit (talk) 02:42, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
