[edit] more details

I added a fair amount of details and corrected some spelling/grammar errors. The situation in some provinces is not quite as grim in the western provinces as portrayed in the text that I updated, although it probably is that bad in Ontario or Quebec.

[edit] Pratice

This section was removed due to its innacuracy. While what you state may be 'technically' correct, I have yet to obtain an ATT # over the phone. They have become more reluctant to do this, as they are dealing with a huge backup of applications already. They tell you to wait in line. They used to do this up until recently, you may be able to obtain a number for a non-restricted firearm over the phone through CFC, but not for a restricted one. I have tried many times in the last year, and many of my associates have as well, without success. Cavell 03:35, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
