Autumn Leaves was a Danish death metal band formed in 1993. They were originally named Decrial in 1992. The first album, Embraced by the Absolute, was more of a brutal death metal album while the second, As Night Conquers Day, was more melodic with key examples of the more melodic style being "Resigning from Life" and the intro to "The Discovery". The first album had one instrumental while the second had two. They split up in 2001.
