Automobili Stanguellini

Automobili Stanguellini was a maker of small sports cars in Italy. Stanguellini cars competed in sports car racing events such as the 1957 24 Hours of Le Mans.Based on Fiat components, the 750 & 1100 cc Stanguellini sports cars were beautifully engineered cars with light-alloy cylinder blocks , twin overhead camshafts and dual side-draught Weber carburettors. This added up to some 60 bhp (45 kW) at 7500 rpm from the 741 cc sports engine & 90 bhp (67 kW) at 7000 rpm from the larger engine, providing top speeds of around 113 mph (182 km/h) and 122 mph (196 km/h) respectively
