[edit] Template Popes

Hi, can you explain why you have changed the title in the Template:Popes from Popes of the Roman Catholic Church to Popes of the Catholic Church. Catholic Church redirects to Roman Catholic Church so what's the point of your change? Snappy56 (talk) 06:26, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

Catholic Church is simplier than Roman Catholic Church; so what change it? Auson (talk) 01:39, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
You can reply here to keep the discussion on 1 page. The name of the church in question is the Roman Catholic Church. This is where the article resides. Introducing a deliberate re-direct is against the Manual of Style. Removing the word Roman doesn't simplify anything. Snappy56 (talk) 14:20, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
