The senate results table is awful. The treatment of Liberal, National, and Liberal/National coalition is confusing (I think the 5,390,114 votes should be in the third-row under coalition, rather than next to Liberal, but I'm not sure), senate votes only add up to 94.7%, and house votes only add up to 98.9%. This is far more than a rounding error. Also, informal votes are shown below those sub-totals, so presumably the percentages being less than 100% is not due to informal votes.

The source given is the Australian Electoral Commission, but no publication detail or web address is provided, so how can I verify the information?

Most sources only list results state-by-state. The best source of combined data I can find is http://www.aph.gov.au/library/handbook/elections/senate/summary.htm, which is similar to our table, but the numbers are in the right rows and it's obvious the columns don't sum to 100%. I've moved the Lib/Nat combined ticket votes to the third row and added an "others" group that includes other parties who got less than 1%. This makes the total about 100% (100.2% I think due to rounding). Figures are based on adding the individual results for those parties from the Parliament Handbook data.
