[edit] Merge?

Should this be merged with World Series Cup?, maybe to an article Australian one day series. It seems strange to use the sponsor's name in the article title since sponsors can change -- Astrokey44|talk 02:47, 9 February 2006 (UTC)

I agree, in my mind the, for example, 1979-80 series and this current one are the same thing, irrespective of which drug company is peddling its wares on the back of it. --Paul 04:28, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
I have renamed it Australian Tri-Series. The articles on the individual seasons can have the sponsors name, but since the main article refers to tournaments played under different names it should have a title which refers to all of them --Astrokey44 03:49, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

I feel that having an additional article entitled World Series Cup is confusing —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.190.241.186 (talk) 13:02, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Vb-series.gif

Image:Vb-series.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Michael Slater's comments during the India-SL match

He mentioned something along the lines of this being the last year this series would be held in this format and after this year the visiting country would play 5 ODI's with Australia and that would be it. I was hoping someone would be able to find out some links with which the same can be confirmed and subsequently the necessary changes can also be made in the article.

According to this article, the two visiting teams will each play Australia in separate head to head series of 5 games. - Akamad (talk) 21:44, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
