dang ole man i tell you what the writn in this dang ol artikle is 100 per cent great i tell you what,

"He got his first guitar at age 15, and taught himself to play. After a while of copying songs off the radio, he got tired of playing covers, and began writing his own. Hinder was created by him and some of his party friends in July of 2001."

horrible, just horrible, and this is an encyclopedia(hahahahahahah) sorry, i must laugh every time i see or hear the words wikipedia and encyclopedia in the same sentence. wikipedia=fanzine

I don't think that Austin is gay so why is everyone putting that on here? He isMrsstump23 19:41, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

Break-out song? Not likely. While Lips of an Angel is indeed Hinder's most popular song, Get Stoned received significant radio airplay on rock stations and did, in fact, break the band to the rock fanbase. See the article for Get Stoned to see that it reached #4 on mainstream rock charts. Lips of an Angel simply appealed more to a pop fanbase and is the only song many Hinder fans have ever heard.
