- Vestibül: The vestibule, adorned with ionic pillars
- Säulenhalle: The Hall of Pillars or also known as peristyle
- Bundesrat: former antechamber of the House of Lords, today Chamber of the Federal Council (Bundesrat)
- Nationalrat: Chamber of the National Council (Nationalrat), former Chamber of the imperial House of Lords (Herrenhaus)
- Abgeordnetenhaus: former Chamber of the imperial House of Deputies (Abgeordnetenhaus), today Chamber of the Federal Assembly (Bundesversammlung, both houses of parliaments which only meets on festive or special occasions)
- Empfangssalon: reception room of the President of the National Council
- Budgetsaal: former festive hall for both Houses of Parliament, today used for budgetary hearings and commissions
- A: Fountain with the statue of Athena
- B: former antechamber of the House of Deputies, today used for meetings
- C: present visitors entrance at street level
- D: Galleries or balconies
