Austrian athletes have won a total of 83 medals at the Summer Olympic Games, and another 185 at the Winter Olympic Games. Austria has won more medals in alpine skiing than any other nation.

The National Olympic Committee for Austria is the Österreichisches Olympisches Comité, and was created in 1908 and recognized in 1912.
