Australian network for art and technology
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Australian Network for Art and technology (ANAT) is Australia's peak national network and advocacy body for artists working at the intersection of art, science and technology; emerging art practices; mobile and portable platforms and experimental sound. ANAT has four core program areas; art research science, portable platforms, emerging technologies labs and embracing sound.
ANAT was established in 1988, and is supported by the Australia Council for the Arts and the Australian state and territory governments. ANAT has been supporting Australian artists working in these fields through programs and funding. ANAT members are currently weaving their magical webs around Australia and the world; producing, presenting and performing creative collaborations and receiving awards and accolades along the journey.
