The Australian cricket team was due to tour Pakistan for 3 Test matches and 5 One-day Internationals in March 2008, but the tour has be postponed.
This tour was put in doubt after the assassination of Benazir Bhutto in December 2007. Leading Australian players have voiced concerns over touring due to safety reasons. Ricky Ponting and Stuart Clark have said that they would not like the tour to go ahead while Andrew Symonds has gone as far to say that he would not tour.On March 11 2008 two weeks before the tour would have taken place Australia officially postponed tour following the Lahore bombings
