The Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) is a performance training venue for young musicians located in South Melbourne, Australia.
ANAM caters for past-school-aged musicians who wish to further their performance training in what is considered to be a more intense training experience, comparably not too dissimilar to the Australian Institute of Sport.
Entry into ANAM is open to Strings, Wind, and Piano at this stage and requires a very high level of performance for entry.
The Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) supports exceptionally talented young musicians in their pursuit of excellence in performance. The Academy offers a unique, year-long Advanced Performance Program for post-school-aged musicians in strings, woodwind and piano. Although ANAM is always happy to hear from prospective Academy Musicians, applications are received early in second semester and auditions are held soon thereafter.
