Australian Milking Zebu

The Australian Milking Zebu is a breed of dairy cattle, developed in Australia. Cows produce approximately 2700kg of milk per lactation. To create them, the Commonwealth Scientific & Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) bred the Sahiwal and Red Sindhi cattle from Pakistan with Jersey cattle. Some Illawarra, Guernsey and Friesian was also included. [1].
