Australian Father of the Year award
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Australian Father Of The Year award is an Australian award to honor and showcase a fine example of Australian fatherhood. Awardees have all been high profile community members.
It is awarded by the Australian Fathers Day Council at a luncheon, with all proceeds going to The Shepherd Center[1], a charity which helps deaf and hearing-impaired children. The Shepherd Centre have been involved in the Australian Father of the Year Awards since 1998.[2] The award is not associated with the Australian government run Australian of the Year awards.
