Australian-Croatian Soccer Tournament

The Australian-Croatian Soccer Tournament was started in 1974 in Melbourne, Australia with only six soccer clubs participating at Melbourne Croatia's ground in Essendon. The first official tournament was in 1975, hosted by Sydney United and taken out by Melbourne Tornado.
Former National Soccer League clubs Melbourne Knights and Sydney United as well as state league sides Adelaide Raiders, St. Albans Saints and Western Knights enter teams in tournament competition.
In 2006, the 32nd tournament was held in Sydney. (The winners of the men's competition were HAŠK Melbourne, and the winners of the women's competition were Canberra Deakin who won 3 - 0.
The tournament is organized by the Croatian Soccer Federation of Australia and New Zealand and the 2007 edition will be held in Perth, Western Australia for the first time in decades.
The 2007 tournament in Perth was one of the greatest in Australian-Croatian Soccer Tournament history. A record amount of teams saw Ljubuski FC take out the tournament defeating Fremantle Croatia in the final 1-0.
